How much does a new boiler cost?
Most of our combi installs land between £1,895 and £3,495 fully fitted, including VAT. The exact figure depends on the brand, boiler size and any pipework or flue upgrades — our online quote gives you the precise price in 60 seconds without needing a home visit.
Do I need to replace my boiler?
The tell-tale signs: it's over 12 years old, it's making banging or gurgling noises, pressure keeps dropping, your bills have crept up, or parts are hard to find. Any two of those and it's usually worth costing a replacement — modern A-rated boilers can shave up to £840 a year off your bills.
How long does the install take?
Most straight swaps are done in a single day. Conversions (regular or system to a combi) and boiler relocations usually take 1–2 days. We'll always give you an honest timing when you book — and we don't leave until your system is running.
What size boiler do I need?
Boiler size (in kW) is based on your bathrooms, showers and radiators — not the size of the house. Our online quote works it out for you automatically, and if we ever spot a mismatch at survey we'll flag it before the fit day.
Can I move my boiler to a different room?
Yes — kitchen, utility, garage or airing cupboard are all fair game. Relocations add flue routing and pipework, so we include a boiler-relocation line on your quote (usually around £395) so the price is honest up front.
Can I convert from a regular or system to a combi?
Yes, and it's one of the most popular jobs we do — you gain the cupboard back where the cylinder used to live. Conversions are more involved (usually 1–2 days) and the quote reflects the extra work and materials. Not right for every home; we'll say if not.
